All About Eliza Kay Hall
Eliza was born and raised in American Fork, Utah, and has lived throughout the state. The oldest of five, she has always been close with her family. From a young age, she loved expressing herself through speaking, singing, and dancing, frequently participating in theater and music within her family and community, and also enjoying debate in school. Known as the neighborhood babysitter, Eliza developed an early passion for caring for children and building meaningful connections.
After high school, she moved to Cedar City to study Musical Theatre at Southern Utah University. There, she served on the Board of Student Life and performed in university productions, where she met her now-husband, Taylor. Both performers at heart, they studied theatre together until Eliza graduated in April 2020 with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Criminal Justice, along with coursework in Child Development and Psychology.
Married for nearly eight years, Eliza and Taylor travel the state in their RV, following their passions for theater and nannying. At home, they care for two dogs and three cats who keep life lively. Eliza loves spending time outdoors with her dogs—hiking, hammocking, stargazing, and observing wildlife—and brings her competitive side to game nights with family and friends. An extrovert through and through, she values connection and creativity in every part of her life. Depending on the season, you’ll find her nannying in Park City, UT, or performing and managing the Box Office at Pickleville Playhouse. Whatever she’s doing, Eliza approaches life with enthusiasm, compassion, and heart.
With over 12 years of professional caregiving experience, Eliza has developed a wealth of knowledge, hands-on skills, and a genuine passion for supporting children and families. She previously taught at a childcare facility and now works as an independent nanny both locally in Salt Lake City and as a traveling caregiver. Known for her patience, creativity, and nurturing nature, she also has over seven years of experience supporting children and adults with disabilities, including two years exclusively as an ABA Therapist.
Families trust Eliza for both regular care and overnight stays, confident in her professionalism, warmth, and reliability. She values transparency in all her interactions, keeping parents informed and supported. Certified in Child/Adult CPR & First Aid for eight years and holding a Food Handlers permit for over ten years, she is calm and prepared in any situation. Her experience in child development allows her to incorporate age-appropriate learning, hands-on activities, and imaginative play into her care. Known for her ever-rotating bag of crafts, games, and toys, she sparks curiosity and joy while creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel supported, valued, and inspired to grow.
